Just a quickie post to show y’all three more shots from the Bronxville Dining Room.
Ahhh… remember the before shot? I read what I wrote 13 months ago… about the Calacatta Gold marble and the dark hearth and that’s exactly what we did. Looks like it was always there! The chairs are from Aidan Gray and reupholstered in the iconic Veneto pattern from Quadrille. The Chinoiserie vases are from Bungalow5. The wall paper is from Thibaut. Privacy isn’t an issue and with windows this gorgeous… no treatment is necessary. Likewise, I decided to forgo an area rug because I felt it made the traditional design, fresher.
Classic Dining Room Ideas
The table was custom-made from Englishman’s Furniture. The cabinet also made by them, was custom-designed by me.
Here is the original sketch.
The sideboard is also from Englishman’s Furniture. The pottery is from various sources. Lamps from Currey and Co. (aren’t they just the coolest buffet lamps you’ve ever seen?) and the mirror is from Horchow. Please note: In the before photo… my little head was poking up in its entirety smack dab in the middle of the bouquet. Yeah… I took it out in Gimp.
