It’s Easy Being Green | Green Decorating

Sorry Kermit, but green is the “it” color and green decor is everywhere. (and yes, of course, this is in honor of St. Patty’s Day).

I have always considered myself to be a “green person” and I will always absolutely love any shade of Chartreuse/yellow-green. It’s one of those colors that goes with everything. After-all, it’s the color of the first buds in spring and every year, I get heady when that happens. I have to confess, however, that emerald-green is not my favorite, even though it was the Pantone “color of the year” for 2013 (marketing bs.) And the other thing is that I am loving blue more and more and more.

Please enjoy some of my favorite rooms and images which focus on green and a couple of boards that I made on Polyvore. (I have a lot of other images that are not on this post as well.) I was inspired by Jennifer from The Pink Pagoda Blog. She just joined and confesses to be addicted. (very, very easy) It’s really fun. Now, Jennifer is very talented. It takes her ten minutes to do a board. Me? hmmm… not ten minutes. More like hours. But I’m still learning how to make the images a good size. It’s a bit tricky. BTW, Jennifer is running a Polyvore Project Decorate contest on there, if you are interested in checking it out and/or her beautiful boards. Also, if you follow her, she’ll follow you back.

This is a revised version of the first board I made. I love all of the different shades of green together.

The new World’s Away Chinoiserie pieces in Jade (and other colors) caused quite the stir at last fall’s High Point Market.

    1. Hi Philipa,

What you saw on pinterest is an image from a post. I’m sorry the link doesn’t work but I have over 6,000 images and 350 posts.
And there is no post that has as it’s subject the trouble with green. The closest is the one you are commenting from.

The only other post I can think of is: https://laurelberninteriors.com/blue-and-gray-are-hot-but-i-prefer-green-decor-now-what/

If that doesn’t work, please send me the image on pinterest. (you can send pinterest images to other pinterest members if you don’t already know that) My pinterest is: https://www.pinterest.com/laurelbern/
      Thanks so much.
