Laurel’s #1 pick for the best sofa (addendum)

freaking-out-over-your-paint-colors

Hi Everyone,

I left out a few images from yesterday’s post about my #1 pick for the best sofa. I always put all of my images in a folder, but I had used one that had other images in them, so I had missed these and so I thought I would post them here, although I have also put them there which you can see here. :]

However, if you have already seen them there and don’t want to go and find them, you can just stay on this page. silly me.

Here are the new images:

Another amazing room by Victoria Hagan. I think that it’s at least 10 years old. I’ve never seen it published online anywhere.

Did you know that Domino Mag is back and online? Well, it is. If you remember, it went down several years back, to the great dismay of lots and lots of faithful readers, including me. It’s one of those magazines that features rooms that feel accessible and are stylish without being too weird or too trendy—just cool. Here is a room done by magazine editor Eva Chen.

This lovely vignette featuring our roll arm sofa (and chair) is from the website of Colefax and Fowler. If it sounds hoity-toity, it’s because it is. They are a high-end purveyor ;] of fine textiles from England.

This image was on the original post but not in its original form. Here is how it’s really supposed to look for the Jonas Upholstery sofa. At first, I didn’t think I liked the pink background, but on second thought, I think the image looks better in its original form.

Well, that’s all for now. Tomorrow is my birthday and I am actually taking the day off! I’m taking a ballet class and then I’m going to pamper myself at my hair salon and day spa for a little resurfacing. lol I have a lot of very exciting ideas for future posts coming up that I hope that you will enjoy!

xo,

      Hi Holly,

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it! A few years ago, when I was starting out, I was told to “speak in my own voice.”

I thought… Are they sure about that? LOL

      Well… okay…

BTW, My sister is Holly too! She’s a REAL writer! Very talented!ReplyCancel
